Alroy Taai - Deputy General Manager
Alroy Taai schooled at John Walton in Uitenhage and later graduated with a BA degree and teachers diploma from the University of the Western Cape.
Mr. Taai started teaching at John Walton and was appointed at Port Alfred High School in 2000 where he was promoted to Head of Department in 2002. Mr. Taai entered local politics in 2006 as Chief Whip of the ruling ANC party.
Mr. Taai started working at Stenden as Community Development in 2008 and was promoted to Deputy General Manger in 2010. He is responsible for community engagement, stakeholder engagement and all support services of the campus, and is the campus student councillor. He is currently studying towards an MBA.
