Mr. Leon van Achterbergh - Senior Lecturer, 3rd Year Coordinator
Leon van Achterbergh has been lecturing at Stenden South Africa for more than seven years. He is currently a Senior Lecturer and the Coordinator of the 3rd years, and is responsible for the coordination of the Student Internships.
He has a Master’s degree in Hospitality Administration from the world-renowned Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland and is currently pursuing his PhD (Business Management) at NMMU. His industry experience over the last ten years includes hospitality consulting in Jerusalem, Israel, and managing various other hospitality establishments. He has worked in many different industries and brings a wealth of knowledge and different perspectives.
