Dutch Students Fly to SA for 6-Month Compact Wine Course

To date, 28 students have completed the Cape Wine Academy South African Wine Course, Certificate and Diploma combined over a six-month period. I was amazed at their knowledge and experience of international wines and it is a tremendous compliment to South Africa that they want to come and experience South African hospitality and our wine industry.

Stenden South Africa Quarterly

There has been a lot of growth and change on campus this module. We welcome two new staff members to Stenden South Africa; namely Dayallan Naidoo who is the Practical Instructor and Pumza Sixaba, who is Junior Lecturer. The Stenden Sports Day was a huge success and saw all staff and students participating and interacting. We had wine makers such as Bruwer Raats and Matthew van Heerden as guest lecturers for our wine students.

Stenden Graduation 2011

Stenden South Africa hosted its 6th and biggest graduation to date on Friday, 6th May.  The event took place in the superbly decorated and draped dining hall at the Stenden campus and the venue was filled to capacity with honoured guests, staff, students, family, friends and most importantly, the graduates themselves.
