HOLLAND

CULTURE, CANALS AND DIVERSITY

Who hasn’t heard of Amsterdam, the capital of culture, coffee shops and canals?  There aren’t many – if any – countries this flat.  There aren’t many countries this densely populated, and yet so liberal.  There many countries with so many bicycles, windmills, cheese and tall people.  Simply put, there is no place like the Netherlands.

When you arrive at Schiphol Airport, you are 4 meters below sea level.  There is so much to see and do that appeals to every individual taste, no matter if it concerns museums, flower exhibitions, Anne Frank’s house or the Heineken experience.  There is a Dutch saying “Act normally, that’s crazy enough,” so who wouldn’t want to visit such a diverse and unique land that has 29 000 kilometers of bicycle paths and 26 % of the land is under sea level?
